The threat of “caviar diplomacy”: Seminar in Oslo

8782270On 13 May, the Norwegian Helsinki Committee, a partner organization of International Partnership for Human Rights, is organizing a seminar on “Safeguarding international institutions against authoritarian abuse.” The discussion at the seminar will focus on so-called caviar diplomacy and other attempts by authoritarian governments to undermine the work of international human rights institutions. Among the speakers are Bill Browder, who heads the Justice for Sergei Magnitsky Campaign, and Nadezhda Tolokonnikova and Maria Alyokhina, previously imprisoned members of Pussy Riot (now representing Zona Prava).

The seminar will be web streamed.
