The Human Rights Impact Hub is calling for applications from lawyers and human rights defenders from the countries of the former Soviet Union (FSU)* who wish to gain hands-on experience and knowledge of working on human rights’ violations and corruption-related targeted sanctions through a training programme.
In the course of the programme, participants will be introduced to the sanctions regimes of the four major Western jurisdictions and provided with detailed guidance on how to trace and recover the ill-gotten assets of persons involved in human rights violations and corruption.

The training programme will be delivered in English. The initial one-month training will be continued with individual mentorship and funding to draft sanctions designation requests for a group selected from the most active participants. All participants who complete the training will become Human Rights Impact Hub alumni, with exclusive access to future networking and knowledge-sharing opportunities.
The planned starting date for the training is 1 March 2022.
